About the job
I'm looking for a caregiver who is experienced working with people with dementia for my 80 y/o Dad. We are in the process of renting a home in Inverness for him and my 86 y/o mother (she will have her own personal caregiver) experience with managing and administering medication is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction, as well as any personal care such as assistance with a shower, denture care, and dressing/undressing. The pay is $14/hour for 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. 7 days a week. I would be willing to split the job between 2-3 people and split the shifts into 6-hour shifts (female and male caregivers are encouraged to apply).
