About the job
We need a full-time (Monday-Friday) daytime caregiver who is kind and patient to care for my 84-year-old mom in her home in Interlachen, FL. Hours are 7 AM-3 PM, Monday through Friday. Caregiver must be a non-smoker, dependable, comfortable with pets, and CPR / first-aid trained with CNA or HHA certification. Duties include breakfast and lunch prep, dressing, assisting with bathing, medication prompting, companionship with activities, and social interaction as well as light housekeeping and laundry. Health concerns are diabetes (controlled with low-carb food and meds), mobility (wheelchair-bound but can transfer with assistance), and dementia with occasional memory issues and confusion.
