Seeking Caretaker For 80-year-old Diabetic in Green Cove Springs

Looking for someone to take care of my 80-year-old mom. She lives alone in Green Cove Springs. She is a type one diabetic with mild dementia. I need senior caretaker with knowledge of diabetes disease. Quick learner to help her manage her insulin pump. We are willing to train someone. (checking blood sugar, entering BG in pump, as well as entering food carbohydrates into pump). Patient forgets how to work the pump. Duties include: diabetes pump management, prepare dinner, light housework (throw a load of laundry in, clean floors once a week, clean dishes), bath-time and just sit on porch and visit with her. She is self-sufficient, but gets lonely and has early stages of dementia. -Thursdays, I would like someone to join her at the senior center in Green Cove Springs from 9 to 1 p.m. She would like a buddy until she meets new people.
