About who needs care: My mother-in-law has had hip replacement surgery and while she should, in theory, be able to walk and have some independence, she also suffered a stroke which as delayed her recovery so she will likely need help for a few weeks until she can regain strength and mobility. About the care needs: Spanish speaking is a must as my mother-in-law only speaks Spanish. With enough strength to support a 176-pound person who is currently struggling to sit, move, etc. While she is regaining her mobility and independence, for the first weeks, she might need to be cleaned, diapers changed, etc. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
