About who needs care: My sister is looking for support with medical care and life admin. She is very high functioning and has been diagnosed with depression & anxiety amongst other mental health illnesses. She is looking for someone who can help her organize doctor appointments, follow thru on care, organize prescriptions, navigate medicare & SSDI health insurance & benefits. She is also looking for help with daily errands like grocery shopping, dog care and personal finance organization. She is extremely compassionate, intelligent, an amazing artist & gardener with friends and family nearby. About the care needs: Someone with experience working with people with mental illness would be very helpful. She is very high functioning but needs someone to help her stay organized and on top of daily tasks & medical appointments. Someone who is highly organized, not easily distracted and kind yet firm would do well. Someone who loves, art, gardening or cooking would be a plus! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
