About who needs care: A retired carpenter by trade, he's a stage 4 lung cancer patient (2-1/2 years) whose tumors have shrunk, have not spread but he can no longer withstand chemo treatment due to damage to the kidneys. He's become very feeble and needs assistance taking a shower. About the care needs: Patient is a 6 foot tall man weighing anywhere between 145-160 pounds so we need someone strong enough to support him getting in and out of the home's walk-in shower that's equipped with two grab bars and a shower stool, and have the training for this type of assistance. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
