About who needs care: New Parkinson's Diagnosis - cannot walk without assistance (walker). Has trrouble getting up out of seated position, needs help. Needs meals prepared and housekeeping. Needs help feeding 2 dogs and 1 cat. Dogs do not need to be walked as they have an enclosed backyard. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, who likes to listen to his stories. He's a retired school principal and also owned a boat most of his life and still has his captain's license. Someone who is gentle and kind but smart, level-headed and familiarity with healthcare (nursing) would be beneficial. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
