About who needs care: I am guardian to my sister who is 61 years old. She has always been a highly verbal, quite independent woman with Down Syndrome. However, she now has dementia/Alzheimer's, so she can sometimes be obstinate. She needs help with preparing meals and toileting. About the care needs: Definitely need a person who understands Dementia - obsessive behavior, repeating herself, inability to communicate what she needs Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
