About who needs care: 74 with many medical issues( cancer, Chronic heart failure, a-fib) but most pressing now the need for 2 total knee replacements. My mobility is greatly compromised. I use a walker to navigate around the house. I can no longer reach floor, under cabinets, make beds. Grocery shopping is one block away, I use an electric cart, but very difficult to complete. I go to physical therapy 2x week. My spouse tries to help, but he has late stage Parkinsons. We watch over each other! I am very sedentary so now sewing, knitting, reading are activities I enjoy. Until I can walk again and get strong enough to get out of pool, I do swim. It would help to have company when I drive to doctor appointment. or taking short walks. I have fallen several times this past years, so having enother person with me at times would ease both of our concerns. Help in the kitchen, help with laundry.. I have a cleaning agency com in once a month. But it is nearly impossible for me to CLEAR up the house so that they can clean! I fly to NJ end of May for summer. See my family. usually back to FL for Fall. To NJ for holidays. Then back to FL January to May. I am making plans for surgeries winter of 2026. At that time I will need lots of medical help, physical therapy and HELP MAINTAINING DAY TO DAY HERE in my home in Florida. I will have to make many arrangements prior to that decision. Hours could be very flexible. I am looking for about 6 hours a week. Over 2 days? When I speak to someone, there is more to chat about. Thank you. About the care needs: I am very social. Talkative. Someone who feels comfortable with day to day changes. I am attempting to organize my storage areas and I can no longer lift time's. Speaking English preferred. I do not speak or understand Spanish.
