Weekend Aide Needed for my Mom Toileting, Transfer and Companionship She is in a skilled nursing facility, in her 80s, about 4 foot 10 inches and 150 pounds, wheel-chair dependent. 1. Mom is visually and hearing impaired, with some dementia, so helpers must speak slowly and clearly. 2. Helper must be able to transfer Mom in/out bed, wheelchair/ toilet without assistance. 3. Be attentive to Mom and her safety at all times. 4. Be easy going and friendly, able to be a good companion for Mom. 5. Able to assist with bathing, when needed. 6. Able to assist with feeding, when needed. 7. Experience as a private aid in a skilled nursing facility, is a plus. Hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10. 15 a.m. to 6. 15 p.m. Pay is between $20-25 per hour, depending on skill and experience.
