About the job
My mom and I are looking for someone to help care for my 86-year-old father. Ideally, the person would come in the morning to help get him up, cleaned, dressed and fed breakfast. Some of the time would be to simply be a companion for him and encourage his exercises to allow my mom to care for herself. The day would wrap-up with preparation of lunch/dinner, loading or unloading the dishwasher and laundry a few days each week. Periodically, we might need extra time to keep him company while my mother is out at an appointment. Children and grandchildren are sometimes visiting with one of the grand-dogs Let me know if you're interested.
