About who needs care: My aunt was a very active and independent person until she fell on the ice on her driveway and broke her tailbone. She lives alone in a house. Laundry is in the basement. Right now she can walk and even do limited stairs to get in and out of the house, but getting to the basement or the upper floor is not possible. She did drive, but may not be able to go back to driving. She primarily needs help with housekeeping, laundry and shopping. Unsure at this point if she will continue to need some assistance with daily grooming. About the care needs: My aunt is set in her ways to the extreme. She gets flustered and upset if things are not done her way. She is distressed by items and furniture being moved around. Anyone who comes would need to be understanding about her deep aversion to even small changes. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
