About who needs care: Parents both in 80s. Mom has beginning stages of dementia and currently going through treatment for stage 4 lung cancer. Could use help with personal care, meals, socialization. About the care needs: Someone with patience and able to actively engage in conversation. Would love someone who could do some light housework and make sure they are eating. Mom can be unsteady on her feet at times, so assisting getting up and down when seated. Both loved to play cards and dominoes but would need reminders how to play and patience when playing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
