About who needs care: Early stages of long term memory loss. Short term memory seems to be ok. She's depressed because she's forgetting things. She loves to go to events and outings, watch the Lifestyle channel, and visit with friends and family. She's a type 2 diabetic so getting exercise and eating sensibly is vital. About the care needs: Someone with immense patience! Because of her memory loss, one has to be patient if she asks the same question several times. She's very easy going and loves to go out whether its to a play, art gallery, movie, Caribbean music festival etc. She's very much a people person so keeping her active is helpful. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
