About who needs care: Dementia with short term memory loss. Long term memory is good. Recognizes everyone and independent with some things. About the care needs: Someone who is familiar with dementia care. My Mother still thinks she does everything around the house, but she doesn't. She need someone who can slightly persuade her to allow for house cleaning, shower assistance etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
