About who needs care: HOBBIES: walking at the beach or in her community, art and accomplished pianist. ENVIRONMENT: Environment is a quiet townhouse, with virtually no TV and minimal interaction with employer. The employer desires a silent home. The Applicant should be experienced with working with seniors. Showing compassion, being sensitive to handling mood changes, and health issues. An Applicant that is skilled enough to step forward when needed yet can also honor the employers need to be by herself in silence. UNDERLYING CONDITIONS: Issues with constipation at times and can be moody, otherwise, very healthy (walks well and can climb stairs) and very self reliant for a 90-year-old. The daily tasks will include but not limited to: HOUSEKEEPING: laundry, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming (when employer is not home), cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen, watering plants, and daily trash removal. MEALS: All meal preparation. Daily cleaning of Kitchen and table after meals TRANSPORTATION (Car provided): Drive employer to appointments and activities as needed. Applicant to do the Grocery/General shopping and errands that the employer needs. Please note, on a regular basis, the employer does not require help with with personal care such as bathing, feeding, oral hygiene &/or toileting. About the care needs: Someone who is quiet (doesn't talk much). Proficient in English A creative person who has artistic or musical interest Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
