About who needs care: Seeking Night-shift Caregiver 9 p.m. 9 a.m. 6-7 days a week *Position can be split between 2 people *Client = 89yr. old male, primarily in good health, eats well, exercises daily, pleasant demeaner. *Location: Weston, CT Seeking empathetic, friendly night-shift caretaker to provide prompt response to physical and emotional needs of client i. e. distributing medication, getting a client a glass of water before bed, making a late-night healthy snack, if client wakes up and cannot fall back asleep, converse with them and keep them company. Additional duties include but are not limited to: Note general observations regarding mental and physical health. May at times need to take blood pressure. Check medications. If the client ever has a small injury i. e. surface abrasion or small cut, make sure area is cleaned properly and help apply bandage. Supervision. Companionship. Send nightly updates to daughter via text or e-mail. Must be CPR Certified. Basic first-aid knowledge and quick thinker in emergency situations. Must have valid drivers license. *Basic caregiver certification a plus About the care needs: Friendly, Patient, Empathetic, Honest, Caring, Pays attention to detail *CPR *Valid Driver's Liscense Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
