About who needs care: Parkinson's disease, and he is returning home from a short-term skilled facility tomorrow. He is on antibiotics for NON-contagious pneumonia (he is prone to it with aspiration), but they said he is doing better. About the care needs: He can feed himself and I would leave prepared food. I am mostly worried about transfers to toilet or commode etc. when I'm not home as he gets his strength back. His wife lives here too, but is also elderly and isn't always able to assist. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
