Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Washington Depot

About who needs care: My dad has diabetes and prostrate cancer. He is easy going. Enjoys his garden, window boxes in summer, and his home. He lost my mom last year and is doing his best to forge ahead. He likes documentaries, football, and classical music. Also working on puzzles lately. He wakes up around 8, eats breakfast, watches news, works on puzzles. Appointments or computer work in the afternoon. He rests later in day around 4:00. Dinner is usually around 6:00-6:30. He watches tv for a bit before sleeping at around 10:00. About the care needs: A person who is cheery, organized, and tidy would be a good match. A person who appreciates nature and weather. If the caregiver can bake or cook that is a plus! Someone who respects my dads wish to feel independent while realizing that he needs help; helping him be mindful of his current limits while he tries to become more mobile. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
