About who needs care: 51-year-old sister. Has been living with ALS for 10 years. Completely immobile. Uses eye gaze technology to communicate on a computer device. Has good understanding and cognition but cannot speak. Needs feeding and toileting on and off commode. About the care needs: Positive, friendly, caring, capable individual. Preferably CNA training and or ALS patient experience. To start it would only be a few hours per week. Hoyer lift or patient lift experience a huge plus. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
