About who needs care: Mentally very sharp. No dementia. Fell and broke hip in April - has slowed down physically. Needs help showering, assistance in bathroom, light meal prep, administration of meds (inhaler for COPD, pills). Mom also has AFIB and congestive heart disease and uses oxygen periodically. About the care needs: Mom is a little OCD and very clean. Someone who is tidy, kind, empathetic, energetic and proactive with tasks would be best. She has an overnight aid that comes at 7:00 p.m. Mom cannot be left alone. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
