About the job
About who needs care: Seems to need help getting up off the toilet -- sometimes. Really wants her privacy but lately when she has to remove her shoes and pants to change the depends, she needs a hand (to be sure she doesn't fall). She is legally blind but you wouldn't notice that immediately (she doesn't complain about it) Picky with food since aging, uncomfortable when clothes are too tight. Even though she is 4'9" and 110 lbs with clothes on. Cannot prepare food but does not need help to eat (I sometimes cut food up b/c strength and eyes are finding it harder) - says she doesn't need help but she does. Likes to feel like caregiver is a guest in her house. Does have some sun downing. About the care needs: a good conversationalist. Used to golf, bowl, sew. Raised 7 children. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
