Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Simsbury

Hi! We are looking for hands-on care for my mom at her home Mom is an independent and private person who lives on a small farm. At 90, with COPD and atrial fibrillation, she tires easily and has begun having some difficulty preparing light meals for herself and doing her laundry. In addition, while she bathes on her own, for safety's sake it would be good to have a person nearby while she's showering. Mom is a rather quiet person unless you ask her about her grandchildren. She loves reading, animals, and small bowls of fresh finger foods like carrots or raspberries. Our preference is for a non-smoking caregiver who would feel comfortable working with a woman used to being on her own.
