About the job
Looking to hire a couple people to help around the house with my grandparents, to cover the hours of 8am-8 p.m. There is some flexibility at present as their needs are not intensive (but will be sooner than later). Roughly looking at 8-10 hour shifts 7 days a week to start. My grandmother is a 93-year-old with early dementia and needing someone around to help with meals and to make sure she isn't over exerting herself (she is very fit for her age and has always been very active). My grandfather is 91 and is getting a little forgetful. He has bad good days and bad walking around with the help of a cane. They both clean and bathe themselves so the job will be quite relaxed! Preparing meals, playing cards/watching TV, light cleaning and assistance with traveling around the house (they need an arm to hang onto more and more these days.
