About who needs care: My mother has dementia and Alzheimer's. She have trouble taking care of herself. I have care professionals coming in but they are very unreliable and I am looking for someone who is trustworthy and reliable to help my mother. She lives to play cards. The ideal day would be to prepare and have breakfast with her, get her to take a shower, keep her company by playing cards or possibly going for a walk and then also preparing her lunch and dinner. She no longer can cook for herself and relies on Meals on Wheels. About the care needs: My mother can be very stubborn so she needs someone who is patient and knows what battles to pick. She enjoys playing cards the most. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
