Currently seeking a caregiver interested in a live-in position. We have one caregiver available already for 4-5 days weekly, so the ideal candidate is available and interested in 2 or three 24 hour shifts. Your own room is available and the client sleeps well at night so you would be paid for 16 hours in a 24 hour shift. Position would provide companionship and help with ADL for our cousin living independently with increasing cognitive decline due to Alzheimer's. Help with medications and food preparation are a priority, and in general keeping her safe and comfortable. Also, help with cat care, housekeeping and transportation to medical appointments. Our ideal candidate is patient and reassuring and has a good understanding of the progression of Alzheimer's. Certification and driver's license and car required.
