About who needs care: My sweet 67-year-old mother has COPD, needs to be on oxygen, and is not supposed to lift more than 10 pounds. She has a bad knee and is unsteady on her feet at times. She needs assistance shopping for and unloading groceries, and doing laundry (her washer/dryer is in the basement) one day a week. She or my 80-year-old father may also need help getting to doctor's appointments. About the care needs: Someone trustworthy, kind, cheerful and reliable, who is able to lift grocery and laundry bags. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
