About the job
We're looking for a companion/caregiver for our 18-year-old son with Angelman Syndrome. He is a sweet, mellow boy with developmental disabilities who requires constant supervision and help to do activities. Pay is currently $20. 50/hr through agency with increases scheduled for 2025. We live in southern Ashford. Responsibilities would include feeding, toileting, communication assistance (AAC devices), occasional bathing, help accessing favorite activities like taking walks in his adaptive stroller, swimming, and enjoying his sensory room. We're looking for someone for up to 30 hours per week currently, filling in our schedule around another PCA. Please PM me for more info!
