About who needs care: She has diabetes in stage 4 kidney disease, chronic heart failure, and a splenic infarct, which causes her some pain. She has had toe amputations and uses a cane to walk. She likes to stay home most of the time, but I think she would benefit from some activities at the senior center. We're looking for someone to check in on her, take her grocery shopping or to get a haircut occasionally, make sure she's eating nutritious food, and mop the floor every once in a while. She keeps her place really clean, but mopping has been her one big concern. She has a lot of doctor's appointments as well. I'm trying my best to take her to these, but it's been overwhelming. If we could find someone to take her to blood tests, imaging appointments, that would help. About the care needs: Someone kind and patient. My mom is pretty frail right now, so she can't do a whole lot, so we're not looking for someone to take her on hikes, but someone who can take her out for a walk in the wheelchair once the weather gets nicer would be great. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
