Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Montrose

About who needs care: Moderate dementia. She no longer is able to drive and needs help with errands. She needs companionship and someone who will help her with memory training and mental organization. We prefer someone who can help her grocery shop, get to appointments, take her to senior events at the Pavillion, make her a weekly schedule to keep with consistency, work with her to use Alexa for cues, and reminders for daily hygiene. About the care needs: My mom is mobile and healthy other than mental acuity. She needs someone who is compassionate, kind, and a good listener. She also needs someone who also can be assertive to get her to do more for herself and go out and make new friends. She is new to Montrose and needs activities that can help her make friends and engage with people her age. We'd like her to go to line dancing with my mom and help encourage to stay with it, if possible. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
