Self-Contracted position: Morning Care provider needed for man with Cerebral Palsy. 4 mornings a week available from 7a to 11:30 a, and additional hours on Saturday until 3:30 p.m. Easy-going environment with potential for growth. Healthcare/personal needs of the individual are extensive, and we provide all training. Individual is quadriplegic and uses an assistive communication device to speak, and a power wheelchair. Minimal lifting is required, and applicants should be prepared to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Unique opportunity to help with Ability Awareness nonprofit to the right candidate! 12-30hrs/week (weekday mornings from 7a to 11:30 a, and additional hours on Saturday until 3:30 p.m. with potential for more evening and some overnights) $22/hr training x 2 wks. $23/hr start with job performance evaluation at 45 days.
