If you had met Victoria a couple years ago, you would have met a vivacious, elegant, and warm young woman with a contagious smile. She was one of those people you hear of, who light up a room. She had just married Ryan, the love of her life. Today, Victoria is largely bedridden, diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), which is commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This is a devastating multi-system disease that causes dysfunction of the neurological, immune, endocrine and energy metabolism systems. It often follows an infection and leaves 75% of those affected unable to work and 25% of the homebound are bedridden. Victoria is part of that 25%.
