About the job
About who needs care: Very independent and stubborn. Thinks she can take of herself but reality is, she can't. Her neighbor/friend/caretaker is leaving town for 3 months. We just need an elder sitter a couple times a week for a few hours. About the care needs: No specialized skills needed. We need someone who will joke around with her, be tough with her, and not take her brash comments seriously. She can be mean. If she likes you, it's all good. If not, next time you come for a visit she won't let you in. She refuses a lot of medical care and self care. She refues to walk and uses an office chair to get around her apartment. She likes instrumental music and wine, lots of wine. She used to love cooking. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
