About the job
I need a care provider for myself, turning 60 in June. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. July 12th I will have a significant surgery on my neck. I live alone. I'll be inpatient a few days and probably go to rehab for a few days to two weeks. I don't know how mobile I'll be. I might be restricted to my first floor, or I might be able to use my stairs. Once home, days 1-5 I need help for 8-12 hour shifts, to check on me hourly. I might need help with food, cognitive tasks, household stuff, driving, etc. A bonus if you're dog friendly and want to help with dog-related stuff. I have two little Maltese dogs, one mellow and one super social. If not, I would hire a separate person for daily dog walks and misc dog-related things.
