About who needs care: Underlying condition is imbalance, so my husband is in a wheelchair full time. His speech is very difficult to understand, so he uses a speaking device or an alphabet chart to explain his words. He loves watching birds and reading. Ideal day is reading, bird watching, going out to see nature. About the care needs: Someone patient, kind, and willing to engage in conversation. No specialized skills needed, but serving meals I have prepared in advance. Interests could include a love of nature and willingness to talk and listen. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
