About the job
We're looking for a kind, dependable caregiver to support my aging parents in their home in Hermosa. Both are very kind and mentally sharp, but my dad has been recently diagnosed with leukemia and will likely gradually decline over the coming months. Duties include: - ADLs for my dad such as getting in/out of shower chair, helping him walk to bathroom (my mom is independent with her ADLs) - Some household laundry - Light housekeeping and cooking - Transportation to doctor appointments - Medication reminders/dispensing - Offering a warm, friendly presence Ideal for someone who is organized, patient, a good listener and has a flexible, supportive nature. Looking for part-time help with the likely possibility of more hours over time. Exact hours are TBD (likely 4-6 hours ideally 7 days/week)
