We are seeking a compassionate and patient caregiver for my mother-in-law, Kimberly, who lives independently but needs some daily support. Due to a traumatic brain injury (TBI), she can be quite strong-willed and sometimes experiences delusional thinking, which can make her challenging to interact with at times. Kimberly values her autonomy and is resistant to more structured care settings, so finding the right person who can approach her with both respect and gentle encouragement is essential. The role requires two 1. 5 hour shifts each day (totaling 3 hours daily), primarily to provide companionship, ensure she's eating, staying active, and maintaining her personal routines. Your presence would bring her a sense of routine and engagement, helping her feel more grounded in her day-to-day activities.
