My name is Alice, and I am an adventurous 30-something-year-old C2-level quadriplegic with no movement below my shoulders. I navigate the world in a 400lb powerchair, using an advanced breath-control straw positioned by my face. I'm seeking to hire someone available to work four weekly shifts per week on Monday morning, Tuesday morning & evening, and Thursday evening. Shifts are from 7 to 1030 a.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. Tasks include range of motion, showers, bowel programs, getting me dressed, using a Hoyer lift to complete transfers, meals, and occasional errands. I am experienced in training individuals with no prior experience working with someone with a spinal cord injury; however, it is important to mention that this position is physically demanding, so applicants must be capable of having an active job.
