About who needs care: My friend P is losing her sight quite rapidly. She is a very independent woman who doesn't need much care for herself at all. The position she is currently looking for is someone to be here on weekends and for overnight while she trains & becomes accustomed to having a new puppy in the house. Due to her vision, she wants to be sure that her puppy is able to get outside on the artificial turf to potty. On the weekends she'd like to take her puppy for a walk safely and have a companion to keep her company during an occasional outing. She is fully able to take care of her needs, she needs a pair of eyes. About the care needs: She would first and foremost need to have a dog lover. Someone honest, compassionate, patient & trustworthy. She can be forgetful, so the most she typically needs for the evenings is a reminder to take her pills. Overnights, is really helping her to get the door open, and, puppy outside, and making sure she doesn't trip over or step on him. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
