About who needs care: Alert and oriented no cognitive impairment. Had spinal surgery twice in past year the second surgery caused impingement to her spinal cord . Over past few months recovering well has feeling in both extremities. Can propel WC with her legs . Working well with p.t. About the care needs: She's social likes to talk . Now just has one dog she loves and cherishes. She needs help getting up and showering and then help to get back into bed later . She is working on using a slide board . Her neurosurgeon expects a full recovery . Not sure of how much help she will need through the day yet . She has applied for special programs just not sure of how long It will take for that .
