About who needs care: G is right on the cusp of mid- to late-stage dementia. He's a pretty easygoing guy, but he's quite weak and unsteady on his feet. He needs ongoing supervision for his safety and a little bit of assistance with tasks like getting dressed (for ex. choosing appropriate clothing, buttoning his shirt), simple meal preparation, etc. He experiences some urinary incontinence but generally is able to manage it himself by using disposable underwear. He is a retired geology professor who is passionate about history, especially of the Old West. Recently he enjoys jigsaw puzzles and watching TV shows about dogs. We are looking for someone to mainly provide supervision and companionship while I do errands and get some personal time. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
