About the job
I'm looking for companion care for my father in his 70s with dementia. I need help 4 days a week for about four hours daily, split into two shifts, morning and afternoon. I am looking for someone who can make sure he's taking his medication, help him with laundry and preparing meals, and bathing and getting dressed in clean clothes. I would also like someone who lives close by and has their own car and can be available for help driving to appointments at the doctors and reporting back to me. Right now, my nephew lives with him and has a large dog, so comfort around pets is key. I am also looking for someone comfortable with technology.
