About who needs care: Maria, a 98-year-old who has lived independently until recently, experienced a fall in the bathtub that has left her with limited mobility. She is hard of hearing and bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She resides in Yucca Valley with her nephew (my dad). Were seeking support for her with bathing, personal care, and light physical activity like walking around the neighborhood. About the care needs: Patient - Maria can be stubborn in taking medications or asking for help. Able to assist Maria (no wheelchair, Maria walks independently or with a walker). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
