About who needs care: We are seeking a kind, reliable caregiver for our mother, who is undergoing diagnosis for suspected ALS-FTD. She has a confirmed diagnosis of FTD. She has very limited mobility seeking to fill ASAP starting with one week a 12 hour shift 8am-8 p.m. About the care needs: Responsibilities: -Assist with mobility, bathroom & shower a few times a week -Help with meal prep -Perform light housekeeping and laundry -Provide companionship and supervision Ideal Candidate: Patient, compassionate, and understanding of dementia care Comfortable assisting with mobility and daily tasks Services include meal prep, light housekeeping, and bathing, dressing, and eventually feeding. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
