Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Woodland Hills

About who needs care: My mom is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer. She's still able bodied and manages to live on her own, but we need help with making sure she's taking her pills at the proper time, that she's eating enough and showering and cleaning up around the house. She's retired so she doesn't get much human interaction anymore and could use some companionship who can talk to her and go on walks around the neighborhood together. About the care needs: My mom is a passionate artist and loves to talk, she will require good listening skills and lots of patience. She doesn't like to think of herself as someone who needs help so this person will require a gentle and creative approach to helping her. A good sense of humor will also go a long way. If they could help encourage her to do something artistic or eat a healthy meal that's not sugar, as well as encouraging her to get outside... all without being overly commanding as my mom doesn't appreciate authoritarians. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
