About who needs care: My mother is physically disabled, she is limited physically in social settings. She enjoys gardening, Mahjong, scrabble, mental health and conversation. About the care needs: An ideal companion would be a person with similar cultural understanding and background. This would be someone with a Filipino or Chinese background and understands this culture. Ideally, a person who enjoys conversation and/or is a good listener as my mom enjoys sharing her thoughts. She does not have many opportunities to talk to others, I'm often her main source of conversing. An interest in Mahjong, mental health or an interest in gardening is a plus!
