About the job
I'm looking for hands-on care for my loved one who is 68yrs old and has a traumatic brain injury. I have all equipment necessary. Hoyer lift, electric wheelchair, home is modified for his needs. Will train on use of equipment. Medication management is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping and laundry for patient and patient areas only. Assistance with bathing/hygiene is one of our requirements. Responsibilities include feeding. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Willing to learn and not stuck on their phone all day. Must be willing to work a split shift. 9am-1pm, 3pm-6 p.m. More hours and days may be available depending on you.
