About the job
About who needs care: Mother-Right sided weakness from stroke, wheelchair bound, transfers with assistance. Type 2 diabetes. She enjoys reading, watching mysteries and sports. Most days she wakes up around 8am, gets dressed and has breakfast, then watches TV or plays word games and does PT exercises with assistance throughout the day. She eats lunch around 12 p.m. and dinner at 6-7 p.m. Bedtime around 11 p.m. Wakes up once most nights for toileting. Uncle (her twin)-Wheelchair bound, stands with pull bar & 1 person assist, incontinent, slight dementia, humorous, likes westerns. Has caregiver for showering M-F a. m. Prefer easy going, patient person who has experience with transfers. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, incontinence care, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
