About the job
About who needs care: My Dad has mobility issues (with walking, he needs to use a walker at all times), he has Dementia but knows who he is and can use the bathroom and get dressed. The basics he is absolutely capable of. He loves movies and going out to breakfast and taking drives to the beach. Typically he gets himself ready and some days his friends visit him. He gets dressed and can reheat meals I prep for him. I do live with him but need assistance while I am working. I want him more than anything to have some additional companionship. Maybe go to the movies during the day, go great breakfast or lunch. About the care needs: I am looking for someone who is engaging and positive, caring and attentive. My Dad is animated, a former actor who is always telling stories and now really telling stories because of his dementia. He enjoys writing, art and film. He is a foodie too. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
