Looking for a P/T Special Needs Caregiver/Companion for (38-year-old) adult who has OCD with Somatic Symptoms, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia (both well controlled with medication) & Autism Spectrum Disorder- in Sun Valley, CA. Ideal candidate: Experienced, friendly, patient, flexible, a good communicator/companion, assertive, special needs caregiver to take him on outings, errands &appointments(ie: grocery shopping, Dr. appts, meals out, healthy activities, etc, to keep him engaged, skill-building/problem solving & to support him through any challenges). This is an interactive position with an emphasis on life-building skills& strengthening his ability to interact outside his residence. Must have own vehicle, comp. ins & safe driver. Mileage 70c per mile. Mon. & Thurs. 12-5 p.m. For longer activities, occasionally 11 am-5 p.m.
